PIAA Girls’ Tennis Doubles Champions
The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) has crowned doubles champions in girls’ tennis since 1973. Each classification champion and additional doubles teams from the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) have qualified for the PIAA Championships since its inception, with PIAA District VII claiming a total of 37 state doubles champions in the sport.
The WPIAL has produced multiple PIAA girls’ tennis doubles champions twice, doing so in 2007 and 2011. Two WPIAL student-athletes have captured three or more PIAA doubles crowns: Moon’s Kelly Deep (1983, 1984, 1985, 1986) and Fox Chapel’s Amanda Nord (2015, 2016, 2017).
