Registration Open, Sponsorships Available for WPIAL Scholarship Fund Golf Outing

Pittsburgh, Pa. – Registration is now open and sponsorship opportunities are available for the inaugural Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) Scholarship Fund Golf Outing, which is set for Monday, June 20, 2022 at Cedarbrook Golf Course.

Registration is open through Friday, June 10. The price per golfer is $125 ($500 for a foursome) and that includes 18 holes, the cart, lunch at the turn, buffet dinner following completion, and refreshments on the golf course. There will also be silent auction items available to bid on.

Sponsorship opportunities are open through Friday, May 20. Sponsorship packages include the following: Title Sponsor, Presenting Sponsor, Cooler Bag Sponsor, Water Bottle Sponsor, Golf Ball Sponsor, Koozie Sponsor, The Masters Hole-In-One Sponsor, Super Bowl Hole-In-One Sponsor, Pebble Beach Hole-In-One Sponsor, Golf Tee Sponsor, Small Business Sponsor, Silent Auction Sponsor, and Hole Sign Sponsor.

The WPIAL Scholarship Fund was created to award scholarships annually to student-athletes from schools and school districts comprising Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) District VII. Since 1992, the league has given $678,000 in scholarships to its WPIAL/James Collins Scholar/Athlete Award recipients, and celebrates its 31st consecutive year of the award program in 2022.
